Welcome to the Saratoga Springs Housing Authority website!

We are located in the historic city of Saratoga Springs, New York often referred to as the “city in the country”. The Saratoga Springs Housing Authority was established in 1952 and has two primary locations. Stonequist Apartments LLC, constructed in 1970 is a 10-story high rise located just blocks from downtown Saratoga Springs and the heart of the business district. Jefferson Terrace

Jefferson Terrace was constructed in 1952, consisting of 19 buildings housing 75 units. Jefferson II was constructed in 1962 consisting of 9 buildings housing 30 units. Jefferson Terraces has several handicap accessible apartments. In addition, there is a maintenance garage, a playground area, Head Start office and laundry room.

Vanderbilt Terrace

Vanderbilt Terrace was constructed in 1970 consisting of 15 buildings consisting housing 58 units. Vanderbilt Terrace has several handicap accessible apartments. In addition, there is a maintenance garage, a playground area, Head Start office and laundry room.

Stonequist Apartments LLC

The Stonequist Apartment building was constructed in 1970 as a 10-story high rise housing 176 units. Stonequist has several handicap accessible apartments. In addition, there is a maintenance garage, laundry room, a Community Room with multi-media center, fireplace, dining area, kitchen with commercial style stove and barber shop.

Section 8/Embury

Affordable Senior Apartments in Saratoga for the 62 and over Community. Embury Apartments feature a modern emergency alarm and sprinkler system, as well as new kitchens, appliances, and spacious walk-in showers with grab bars and a variety of floor plans. Also offering fully handicap accessible units.

Promenade Apartments

The Promenade apartments include the construction of 63 total rental units. This will consist of a 4 story mid rise building (41 apartments) made up of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and 3 townhouse apartment buildings (22 apartments) made up of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments.

SRDI

24 Unit housing development project consisting of two 12 unit two story buildings and associated infrastructure located on 2 parcels formally on the SSHA property generally at East Fenlon St. and Vanderbilt Ave.

SAHG

The Allen Drive Community is located on Allen Drive in the Northwest corner of Saratoga Springs and features 40 apartments. The property comprises six townhouse style buildings with 4 apartments in each building and one 15 unit 2-story building. These are spacious apartments located on well maintained grounds with plenty of room for outside enjoyment. There are one, two and three bedroom units available.
